CHADO TEA ROOM

"The way of tea"—that's what Chado means, and the company fully lives up to its name, embodying all that tea can be. More than a tearoom and gift shop that sells tea, they are tea moguls, with more than 300 blends from which to choose and purchase.

Their original Los Angeles location (opened in 1990) closed in recent years when the landlord failed to renew the tea spot's lease. Fortunately, there are a few venues that remain:
